A Lost Ring
Akbar dropped his ring into a well. Many tried to retrieve it, but failed.
Birbal’s Solution
He lowered a magnet tied to a thread. The ring, made of iron, clung to it and was pulled up.
Akbar’s Joy
“You pulled the voice of silence,” he said. Birbal replied, “Even in darkness, the right tool draws the lost to light.”
Lesson to Be Learned
Even the lost soul, sunk deep in forgetfulness, is drawn by the magnet of Kṛṣṇa’s mercy. The thread is the Holy Name. No one is too fallen to be rescued by divine love.
