A Royal Hunt
During a hunt, Akbar shouted into the forest and heard his own words echoed back. Surprised, he asked Birbal, “Who dares to speak back?”
Birbal’s Explanation
Birbal replied, “It is nature reflecting your own voice. The world echoes your intention.”
The Lesson in the Woods
Akbar said, “Then I must speak carefully, even to silence.”
Lesson to Be Learned
Whatever we offer to the world—love, anger, truth, or deceit—returns to us. Karma echoes loudly. The devotee speaks words of peace, knowing they shape his destiny and please the Lord.
