A Strange Claim
A man came to court claiming, “Last night, I dreamt I was given a treasure by the Emperor. I demand that it be fulfilled!”

Birbal’s Dream Response
Birbal said, “Last night I dreamt you gave away your house and lands to charity. Should I make you give them now?” The man was speechless.

Dreams and Reality
Akbar laughed. “Let dreams remain dreams. Reality requires action and karma.”

Lesson to Be Learned
We dream many things in illusion, but only acts of devotion bear eternal fruit. Just as Kṛṣṇa accepts offerings made in love, not fantasy, we must engage in active surrender. Spiritual advancement lies not in imagination but in loving service.
