Birbal placed a mirror in a dark room and asked the courtiers what they saw. “Nothing,” they replied.

Lesson to Be Learned
Self-knowledge requires divine illumination. Without remembrance of the Lord, the soul remains in darkness. Let the lamp of chanting and scripture light the mirror of the heart.
