An Immeasurable Present
A poet came to Akbar and said, “I bring you the sky.” Everyone laughed. Birbal asked him to explain.

The Poet’s Meaning
He said, “I bring you the open heart, endless imagination, and the freedom to grow. Is that not the sky within?”

Akbar’s Joy
“Then I accept your gift with gratitude,” he said.
