A Humble Offering
A village child gifted the emperor a crown made of leaves. The courtiers laughed. “What use is this to a king?”

Birbal’s Correction
He placed it gently on Akbar’s head. “Majesty, this is the offering of a heart that has nothing else but love.”

The Emperor’s Response
He wore the leafy crown for the rest of the day and said, “This is richer than gold.”

Lesson to Be Learned
The Lord accepts even a leaf or a flower if offered with love. What pleases Him is not grandeur, but devotion. The sincerity of the heart outweighs the value of the hand.
