A Broken Gift
A nobleman gifted Akbar a clock with no hands. “It is a symbol,” he said. “Of what?” asked the emperor.

Birbal’s Interpretation
Birbal said, “It shows the time of truth—eternal, beyond ticking hours. The moment of remembrance of God is timeless.”

Akbar’s Insight
“Then let each breath be sacred, for time waits for none.”

Lesson to Be Learned
Worldly time passes, but the moment one surrenders to the Lord becomes eternal. The devotee seeks timelessness not in delay but in divine focus—making each second count for Kṛṣṇa.
