A Royal Question
On a moonlit night, Akbar asked, “Can a shadow exist without a head?” The courtiers dismissed the idea, saying it was impossible.
Birbal’s Demonstration
The next night, Birbal placed a pot on a man’s head and had him stand under moonlight. His shadow, now obstructed by the pot, appeared headless.
The King’s Delight
Akbar laughed, “Once again, you’ve shown that even impossibility bows before intelligence.”
Lesson to Be Learned
The impossible becomes possible by Kṛṣṇa’s will. When the devotee uses his intelligence in service of the Lord, even nature cooperates. As Prabhupāda said, “Devotional service is not limited by logic—it is guided by faith and surrendered intelligence.”
